This proposed bill is a waste of legislative time and taxpayer money. While the Super Bowl is a major event, it doesn’t justify a state holiday. Indiana has real issues—education, infrastructure, public health—that deserve attention over a day off for football fans. This would disrupt businesses, burden essential services, and trivialize official holidays. Lawmakers should focus on meaningful policies, not frivolous pandering.
