Oppose federal funding to expand immigration detention

I am vehemently opposed to the president’s plans to detain aspiring Americans at military bases and new detention facilities. Sending people in our country to Guantánamo Bay and misusing taxpayer dollars to construct more detention centers only exacerbates the corruption and abuses within this system. I urge you to deny the president the resources he needs by voting No on any legislation that further funds immigration detention. We must take a stand against these inhumane and unjust practices.
