Trumps latest social media post is extremely disturbing. “He who saves his Country does not violate the Law.”
Not only is this reminiscent of Hitler, Mussolini, Bonaparte, and Franco, but it could also incite his supporters—among them white nationalists and racist extremists like the proud boys—to violence in the name of “saving the country.” This is dangerous rhetoric from the supposed leader of the free world.
The United States of America is a democracy. We do not have dictators. We do not have autocrats. We are witnessing an historic coup with an unelected billionaire gaining access to personal information of citizens of this country as well as holding press conferences in the Oval Office.
You must act.
You were elected by the people of Tennessee to represent us. You were not nominated by the president nor do you serve him. Your job is to literally represent your constituents and protect us from the very government overreach that is currently being orchestrated in DC.
Do your job. Protect your constituents from the very real threat that is happening. This rhetoric is dangerous to our democracy.
Trump must be impeached. South Korea did it. Take a stand.
