OPPOSE S.9 Gender Policing in Sports Act

I strongly urge opposition to the deceptively titled "Protection of Women's Sports Act" which promotes harmful discrimination against transgender individuals. This unacceptable legislation would cruelly bar transgender women and girls from participating in sports according to their gender identity. It perpetuates baseless fearmongering and ignorance about what it means to be transgender. Denying transgender athletes' right to compete openly and authentically in the sport they love is unconscionable. Transgender people deserve dignity, respect, and equal opportunity - not legalized bigotry masquerading as purported "protection." I call on you to firmly reject this unethical attack on basic human rights and the very notion of inclusion.
