Reject Hegseth for Christian Nationalist Views

I urge you to oppose the nomination of Pete Hegseth to lead the Department of Defense. While many disturbing allegations have surfaced in recent weeks, all of which alone would be enough to build an iron-clad case against his nomination, I would like to ensure that his stance as a Christian Nationalist is added to these considerations. Christian Nationalism represents an existential threat to the separation of church and state that is core to just about every aspect of our democracy, our safety, and our freedom, and the nomination of a Christian Nationalist to a position of such leadership will have demonstrable impact on the lives of millions, both inside and outside the United States.
