Resistbot Petition: CDC Covid Isolation Change

An open letter to the U.S. Senate

CDC Covid Isolation Change

36 so far! Help us get to 50 signers!

The CDC is considering shortening the recommended isolation periods for positive COVID-19 infections to under 5 days, instead basing isolation on symptoms. This is not based on science, it does not protect the most vulnerable in our society including children, the elderly, and immunocompromised, or anyone who wishes to protect themselves from a harmful vascular disease like Covid. We know that up to 60% of transmission of covid is asymptomatic, we cannot allow this to spread unchecked. People remain contagious with covid for days, and symptoms alone are not a way to decide whether it’s safe to resume normalcy. Please do what you can to advocate against this change in guidelines. Our future depends on it.
