An open letter to State Governors (Hawaii only)

Sign HI SB3238 to Fund Language Access for Hawaii Residents

10 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

Hawaii has extraordinary linguistic diversity, and SB3238 would put that reality into policy. Please sign this bill. It establishes a Language Access Education and Workforce Development Program at the University of Hawaii, training workers who can actually deliver government services to residents in their own language. Right now, too many Hawaii residents navigate healthcare, legal aid, and public benefits in a language they only partially understand. That gap is not a personal failing. It is a structural one that government can fix, and SB3238 fixes it by building a trained workforce from within our university system. This bill has broad support in the legislature and passed both chambers. It does not need more debate. It needs your signature.
