Shut Down ICE and Prosecute All Responsible for Force-Feeding Torture

You must act immediately to shut down ICE and pursue prosecution of every official responsible for authorizing force-feeding in immigration detention — including the President. Since January 2025, federal judges have approved force-feeding in at least 19 cases. In one, ICE received permission to surgically cut into a detained Cuban man's abdomen without his consent to insert a feeding tube. This is not medicine. This is inhumane torture, and human rights organizations have condemned it as exactly that. The ACLU of Texas called it "forcibly cutting into a protester's body to insert a tube in their stomach." This man has no legal representation. ICE is performing invasive surgery on an unrepresented person inside a private GEO Group facility near Houston, in sealed court proceedings with almost no public oversight. What is happening in these facilities is Nazism in practice — state-sanctioned torture of human beings who are being punished for protesting their own detention. Eunice Cho, a civil rights attorney who has documented these cases, warned that the rising number of court orders "suggests conditions are so bad that more people are hunger striking in protest." That is a damning indictment. Defund and dismantle ICE. Prosecute every official who authorized these procedures. Cut all federal contracts with private detention operators like GEO Group. No democratic government tortures people in secret facilities. This demands criminal accountability at every level, and I expect you to use every tool available to make that happen.
