Tell Brenna Bird to Back Off

The Attorney General's attempt to strip Winneshiek County of all state funding is an egregious abuse of power. This punitive action is unjustified and sets a dangerous precedent of undermining local governance and autonomy. The state should not be wielding its authority to bully counties into compliance over political disagreements. This overreach threatens the balance of power between state and local governments that is integral to our democratic system.
