Block All Supplemental War Funding for Unauthorized Military Action Against Iran

I'm calling on you to use your funding authority to block all supplemental war funding requests from the Department of Defense while President Trump continues unauthorized military action against Iran. Congress has the constitutional power to stop this illegal war, and you must use it. The House already failed to pass the bipartisan Massie-Khanna War Powers Resolution that would have required withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iran unless Congress declared war. That vote was a dereliction of duty. The Constitution gives war authority to Congress alone, not the President. Trump bombed a country of nearly 100 million people without asking Congress first. That's a clear constitutional violation. You still have the power to act. Refuse to fund this unconstitutional war. No supplemental appropriations for military operations in Iran should pass while the President continues to make a mockery of the Constitution. If Congress won't use the War Powers Resolution to rein in the President, then use the power of the purse. That's what the Founders intended.
