Decriminalize sex work. Criminalization increases human trafficking with the threat of arrest. This also makes it harder for workers to get medical treatment and work in safe spaces. Bodily autonomy is more than just abortion access, it's also who you have sex with and under what conditions. Rhode Island accidentally decriminalized sex work for a short time and the positive impacts were staggering. Decriminalization not only makes everyone healthier and safer it reduces our prison population.
