New language inserted in the Republicans’ budget reconciliation bill requires the sale of up to 3.3 million acres of publicly owned land, and an amendment authorizes the sale of 258 million acres more over the next five years. While none of the Public land in Maine is included in the Bill, it is still wrong to sell public land !!! That land was set aside for many reasons and I’m angry this is even being considered. It’s disgusting. Public lands are owned by the PUBLIC and you should be ashamed to be supporting this provision.
