Since the Dobbs decision I have been concerned for the health rights of women. We need to assure that NY State is represented with judges who believe that women's health care is a top concern and abortion is healthcare, private, legal and safe. Your selection of Judge Hector LaSalle astounds me. I have heard that the characterization of his legal opinion should not be based on just two cases: one on abortion and one on union lablr, but I look at the decision in People v. Bridgeforth, in which LaSalle joined a decision that said dismissing jurors based on skin color passed constitutional muster. It was eventually overturned. You must withdraw Judge LaSalle's name from consideration and not try to undermine the Senate Panel Vote. Just abide by that decision and make a better selection. We vote you in as Governor because we believed that you cared about women and their healthcare. I am finding out otherwise.
