An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Say No To RFK Jr's Wellness Camps SSRIs and Stimulants Are Medical Treatments

3 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

I am writing regarding RFK Jr’s statements about voluntary wellness camps for those prescribed SSRIs and/or stimulants to treat disorders where they are considered longstanding and well-determined medical treatments. Our nation has a checkered past with camps that gathered large, if you will, concentrations of people together, such as the Japanese relocation centers, and Narco, the failed Wellness Farm from 1935. RFK Jr’s statements that these medications are addictive to those they’re prescribed to, cause school shootings, or any of his other wildly inaccurate claims are dangerous and put the health of many millions of Americans at risk. I ask you to please keep a critical eye on his claims and vote against any legislation that would restrict access to life saving medication or violate the privacy and personal freedom of any person receiving treatment. While these camps may begin as voluntary, I fear that this may not remain the case if we’re allowed to start down this road. Eugenics is a sordid part of our history, and under no circumstances should we add to it with these facilities.
