An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Congress: Stop school shootings and do something about it

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

I'm writing to express my deep outrage and fear over the constant mass shootings happening in the United States. I ask that you take immediate legislative action to stop this epidemic of gun violence by... Instituting universal background checks for ammo and gun buyers, Reinstating a federal ban on the purchase of high-capacity magazines and military-style assault weapons, Closing the loophole that lets people buy guns at shows and through private sellers without background checks, Funding evidence-based community anti-violence programs, like Ceasefire, which have been shown to reduce shootings. No one should be afraid to send their child to school.other well developed countries do NOT have this level of massacres and I am done with it. Thank you for your time and attention.
