WHAT DOES FOUR HOURS REALLY DO FOR PALESTINIANS- NOTHING

You just got notice you have 4 hours to leave where you're currently sheltering at with your family or risk death, dismemberment, or maiming by IDF airstrikes of internationally banned thermal and chemical weapons. Your teenage son left hours ago to wait in line to try and get clean water. Your 4 year old daughter cries, but with the level of dehydration you're all experiencing, there are no more tears. Your spouse was injured yesterday after an airstike collapsed your home on top of you and everyone living there. You haven't been able to get them medical attention- their leg is wrapped with whatever cloth your family could find. Your son gave up his shoes so your spouse could have something to make walking easier. You haven't eaten anything in 2 days. You've been giving your food to your children instead. Dizziness clouds your mind, but you have to stay strong for your family. You can see the beginnings of a fever setting in on your spouse's bro. They smile at you, half reassurance, half knowing what comes next- it's a potential goodbye. The wound is starting to fester. There are no antibiotics, pain meds, or ways to keep the wound clean. You saw your best friend's child succumb to a wound like this several days ago. So, what do you do? Are you grateful that the United States begged Israel for 4 hours for you to "evacuate" while you're starving, dehydrated, and wounded both physically and psychologically? Do you feel like the international community values your life or your family's? I demand you call for an immediate ceasefire- a "humanitarian pause" is completely insufficient-, the withdrawal of all U.S. troops from the area, and all financial, intelligence, and military aid given to Israel to permanently cease. I demand the billions you've taken of my tax dollars to go instead to humanitarian relief for all of occupied Palestine to help them rebuild, care for the sick & injured, bury the dead with dignity, and ensure all of their basic needs are taken care of and are unable to be restricted by the Israeli government now and in the future. We cannot allow Palestine to continue to be occupied and erased. I demand you voice support of and take any and all actions to assist Palestinians in regaining their land, freedom, and right to self-governance. This has never been and is not a call to have the same atrocities done to Israeli people. ALL PEOPLE should be safe from apartheid, genocide, and ethnic cleansing. The situation in occupied Gaza is beyond dire. The actions being taken by the IDF to terrorize the occupied West Bank grow in disturbing, heinous ways every single day. The magnitude of human suffering is impossible to quantify. It has gone beyond comprehension. Every day becomes more unspeakable.
