An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Don’t shut down Social Security offices to open concentration camps

18 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

It is highly inappropriate for our government to be closing field offices of the Social Security Administration to be able to open concentration camps. Nothing in Christianity compels us to build concentration camps to detain immigrants let alone destroy our Social Security system. It is time to stand up, use your power as a legislator, and bring the executive branch to heel. These adventures in unbridled authoritarianism are an embarrassment and a sign of utter weakness by a nation that is in many respects rapidly meeting the definition of a failed state. Be brave and be bold by bringing us back from the brink of disaster.
