GOP SAYS COMMIES ARE COMING FOR US ALL. THE ONION IS ALIVE & WELL

Oh this is rich. You gotta laugh. The GOP has dragged up a word from their favorite era in American history. A word that is supposed to scare small children. And make we the people run for our proverbial guns. Communist. The glorious America of the 1950s is alive and well. Could someone please direct the GOP to a dictionary? As is being pointed out, the only person wanting to seize the means of production for the government is our current president. Remind me again how many companies he’s either profit-sharing with or has made deals where the government basically controls their production? The communist boogeyman went the way of Joe McCarthy. And all the fortune cookie pounding (looking at you Sen. Blackburn) and loose language being flung at anyone not in the GOP pod won’t change that. We have ACTUAL assaults going on against our Republic. By our government. The real boogeyman is sitting in the Oval Office. So please stop with the 20th-century outdated cranky attempts to scare a population that is instead scratching their heads and going ‘WTF are they talking about?’ I’m a boomer and even I’m not swayed. And I’m assuming I’m the generation you must be preaching to. Y’all really need to try and to keep up with the times. Maybe get out more. P.S. Commie China seems to be besting us in cutting edge technologies these days. Maybe you need to go shake your fist at them. Cause they seem to be the real danger you’re thinking about.
