Hi, I’m writing about several issues. I’d like the Senator to:
1) Introduce legislation that champions financial unemployment protections for recent college graduates to help cover living expenses while looking for work.
2) Defund ICE and reinvest taxpayer dollars currently funding ICE and CBP into our communities.
3) Pass the Equality Act (S. 393) to support the well-being of gender non-conforming youth and prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
4) Pass the Washington, D.C. Admission Act (S. 51) in support of DC Statehood, public health, and racial justice.
5) Pass the NO BAN Act when it comes to the Senate floor to prevent harmful and racially discriminatory executive actions and future abuse of executive power.
6) Add the American Jobs package citizenship for immigrant youth, TPS holders, and essential workers.
7) Co-sponsor the EACH Woman Act (S. 1021) to repeal the restrictive Hyde Act and provide equal access to abortion regardless of socioeconomic status.
