Invoke amendment 14.3: expel sedition plotters & concealers from congress

Each new revelation about the violent insurrection on January 6th has reinforced how close we came to losing our democracy. And now the news comes out that not only was there a PowerPoint circulating about how to overthrow Biden's victory but also that that material had been circulated to, or presented to, GOP members of the house and senate. I can see no way that knowing about the PowerPoint and not contacting law enforcement is compatible with the congressional oath that you all took. I cannot imagine what it is like to have as colleagues persons who lie, abuse their colleagues with inflammatory language, attempt to bring guns into the Capitol and so on. I see no more chance for any good faith bipartisanship when the GOP tolerates violent extremists in its numbers and fails to police itself. I ask you to invoke the 14th amendment section 3. No person who knew of that planned insurrection and scheme to delay certification should remain in congress. You cannot serve the people and the constitution if you engaged in, or covered up, a plot to overthrow our democracy.
