I hope you will do the right thing for the women of TN and encourage the Legislature to undo the trigger law that's scheduled to outlaw abortion in TN within the next 30 days. The SCOTUS decision to overturn Roe v. Wade will have terrible consequences for a huge number of TN women and girls if you allow the legislature to ban abortion in TN. Banning abortion is not about unborn children. It's about punishing women and forcing control over their individual healthcare decisions. If this was about the children, you would have vetoed the open carry law, and you'd be doing much more to curb the pandemic of gun violence you've not only allowed, but encouraged. You have done a terrible job of protecting the children and general population of this state. I am so ashamed of your support for allowing the GOP to turn our country into a theocracy ruled by the minority. Your support for increasing the number of loaded guns allowed on our streets, in our parks and on our roadways sickens me. Your support for gun manufacturers to relocate to TN is an abomination. Nothing good will come from your seeming obsession with turning our streets into the wild west. I pray that you will be overwhelmingly defeated when it's time for you to stand for reelection. From my vantage point you have not been good for the people of TN in any way. It is a tragedy!
