Slashing VA services

Sweeping cuts to contracts at the VA. The 875 contracts on the chopping block help cover medical services, fund cancer programs, recruit doctors and provide burial services to veterans. This is Musk‘s current effort to streamline the federal bureaucracy. Is this how we show gratitude to those who showed up and risked their lives in the service of our country?! Part of what is on the chopping block is cutting edge cancer treatment. These people who were risking their lives for our nation were exposed to severe cancer causing toxins. And you are OK with cutting that service? Senator Blumenthal said many of the targeted contracts were also used by the VA to conduct oversight of its spending and ensure the veterans programs operate efficiently for the veterans. Cutting burial services?! For people who gave their all, the ultimate sacrifice! The lunacy of this is astounding. I am asking you as my representative what are you going to do about this? We need answers.
