An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Accountability Matters—Or Does It?

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

During her confirmation, the new attorney general swore under oath that she would not pursue lawsuits as political retribution. And yet, that’s exactly what she just announced she’s doing. Doesn’t that constitute perjury? If this is acceptable, should we expect RFK to go back on everything he said during his confirmation as well? Where does this stop? If lying under oath is now fair game, should we all stop following laws, telling the truth, or even paying taxes? Or does accountability only apply to some of us? I’d appreciate your thoughts on this and, more importantly, your action to uphold integrity in government.
