Day 116 of a Letter a Day to End Forced Birth

Using adoption as an excuse to force pregnancy is a willfully ignorant proposition. Forced birth advocates will say putting a baby up for adoption will eliminate the need for an abortion. This ignores the permanent impacts pregnancy has on the human body, the day to day challenges and discomforts it poses, and the dangers of pregnancy and childbirth in the American healthcare system. For this and many other reasons I am writing a letter a day until we end forced birth by writing abortion access into law.
