An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Should Hegseth be deported for his gang tattoos?

24 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

The deportation of Venezuelan men to a prison in El Salvador based solely on tattoos that may or may not been evidence of gang membership without any shred of due process is an abhorrent act particularly when it was done in defiance of a lawful court order. I think many would think that Pete Hegseth’s tattoos would suggest an affiliation with white supremacist organizations that are a danger to our nation, but I’m sure he would disagree vehemently. It is wrong in this day and age to judge someone solely based on tattoos. Many of these men have committed no crime in the US but are being held in a prison instead of just being deported and that is morally wrong in some many ways. We as a nation should be better than this. The ends don’t justify the means for so many actions being taken by this administration. One day I hope the ‘Christians’ in the republican party would realize that this is not what Jesus would do.
