I demand that you take immediate legislative action to: 1 Mandate that ICE agents identify themselves clearly by name, badge number, and agency affiliation. 2 Require that ICE agents wear standard uniforms during all public operations. 3 Prohibit ICE agents from wearing face coverings that obscure identity during non-emergency interactions. 4 Establish independent public audits of ICE activity, with oversight from civil rights organizations. If ICE is unwilling or unable to operate within the ethical standards that apply to all law enforcement agencies, then it must be reformed or disbanded.
