Congress Must Act to Prevent Private Takeover of Government. We the people call for immediate congressional action to reassert democratic control and prevent Musk’s further entrenchment into government infrastructure including launching urgent investigations into DOGE’s hiring practices, Treasury access, and OPM purges; strengthening security and conflicts-of-interest laws; enforcing divestment measures; barring Musk from acquiring TikTok; and limiting Musk’s influence over national security and diplomatic affairs.
