Will Someone Stand Up for the Farmers?

I'm writing to you as a constituent who enjoyed eating fresh and local produce made gown in the USA. Despite their promises to promote American workers, the current administration has done anything but. They have pushed executive order after executive order thought that harm American farmers and subsequently the American economy and all American citizens. In summary they have: -Cancelled millions of dollars worth of USDA grants supporting American Farmers -When asked if they care if the EU bans US Food imports Trump said "let them" -When farmers were faced with rapid spread of bird flu and the rising cost of eggs and the impacts of deregulation on factory farms, the federal government ignored farmers to focus on things such as "what pronouns do 1.6% of the population use" and "revoking a 400 yr old name for a body of water" which do not matter to the average American voter and waste taxpayer dollars. Farmers and their products are vital resources and incredibly important to our economy. The immigrant labor that often supports them should be protected. What are you doing to protect farmers and their grants? What are you doing to protect the laborers, often immigrants, that support the economy? What are you doing to prevent a second Great Depression? Sincerely,
