The economic system is rigged, and you need to act on it. The top 1% now own more wealth than the bottom 93% of Americans, and one man — Elon Musk — holds more wealth than the bottom 50% of U.S. households combined. While 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck, billionaires are having the best run in history. That is not a market outcome. That is a policy failure, and it demands a policy fix.
I want to see real action: raise the federal minimum wage to at least $20 an hour, pass the PRO Act so workers can actually organize, and make corporations and billionaires pay their fair share in taxes. An effective tax rate lower than what a nurse or truck driver pays is obscene. These are not radical ideas — strong majorities of Americans support every one of them. Stop letting corporate lobbying set the agenda and start representing the people who actually elected you.
