Urgent: Restore Legal Access for Unaccompanied Children

13 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

On February 18, 2025, the Acacia Center for Justice was instructed to halt its essential Unaccompanied Children Program. This move strips over 26,000 vulnerable children of legal representation, leaving them defenseless in a complex immigration system. This program, funded by Congress and supported since 2003, protects children from trafficking, ensures smoother immigration court operations, and upholds due process. Without specialized children's rights attorneys, these children are left at extreme risk. The administration's decision not only undermines due process but also puts already traumatized children in greater danger. I urge you to ask HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to immediately lift the stop work order and restore legal access for unaccompanied children.
