An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Protect the children

4 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

“Suffer unto me the little children, for they shall inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.” This is NOT a Christian nation. Our forefathers were adamant that our government be free from religion. However, it would be ignorant to believe that our lawmakers agree with that sentiment, and so I ask you, within the confines of your chosen religious beliefs- how are we protecting the children when we are ignoring their fact that children are going hungry every day in the richest country in the world? How are we protecting them when we refuse to prosecute Epstein’s cronies who enslaved them on an island for easy victims of rape, consumption, murder, and who knows what else? How are we protecting them by starving them in concentration camps away from their friends and families? “Suffer unto me the little children,” means to follow the doctrines of Christianity in protecting them. I think some of our elected officials think it means “children should suffer.” If you want to preach your religion from the podiums of congress, at least understand what your religion is saying. Thank you
