An open letter to the U.S. Supreme Court

Doge’s request to access taxpayers records is illegal.

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

The administration's actions to grant a DOGE-affiliated employee access to the IRS system containing sensitive taxpayer information raise serious concerns about potential abuse of power and violation of privacy rights. Such access could enable the employee to improperly access and potentially misuse confidential taxpayer data for political purposes under the guise of identifying "waste, fraud, and abuse." This represents an alarming overreach and misuse of government resources that undermines public trust. Taxpayer information must be safeguarded with utmost care and accessing it without proper justification is unacceptable. I urge you to take immediate action to prevent this breach and protect the integrity of the IRS by denying improper access requests. The independence and ethical standards of the agency must be upheld to preserve confidence in the fair administration of our tax system.
