An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Talk About Healthcare - Universal Healthcare

34 so far! Help us get to 50 signers!

I am your constituent and I am very concerned about healthcare in our country. We pay twice as much as many of our peer industrialized nations. We have 8% to 10% with no health insurance and 16% to 23% of us are underinsured with such high deductibles that we don’t go to the doctor unless it is a dire emergency. What is your comprehensive, detailed plan to bring relief to citizens who lack health care, citizens who very soon can’t afford the plans they have, and citizens who are facing a coming job loss in this tanking economy who soon will have no healthcare?I would like you to address the healthcare issue in detail every day, in every speech, in every media appearance until Congress comes up with a comprehensive healthcare plan that serves all Americans, not just the insurance companies and the rich. P.S. a plan exists, it is H.R. 3069, the vastly improved Medicare For All Act.Now I want to know what is your plan to get affordable healthcare to everyone? I will expect a response from you. Thank you.”
