We Need Fair Corporate Taxes & An End To Citizens United

I am your constituent and I just learned that 88 of some of the most profitable companies in the United States PAY NO FEDERAL TAXES. That includes Disney and CVS, the healthcare conglomerate that owns Aetna, pharmacies and one of the largest and most profitable pharmacy benefit mangers in the U.S. Here is a list of those companies, https://itep.org/88-profitable-corporations-paid-zero-income-tax-in-2025/ These are government handouts that take from working class families and gives to the wealthy. Citizens United was the Supreme Court Decision that allows companies to funnel untold billions into politics so that the voices of ordinary people, like me, are drowned out. We need a new Reconstruction in our United States. We need an FDA that really makes sure our food and drugs are safe. We need a CDC that is focused on public health, not anti vaccine, anti woman, anti healthcare policies. We need the National Institutes of Health to actually do and fund the medical research we all need. We need an EPA that is focused on protecting public health and the environment, not polluters. We need Universal Healthcare - which costs less than what we pay now and covers everyone. We can have all of it if we overturn the Citizens United Decision with a constitutional amendment and restore a fair tax structure so that companies pay their fair share - not ZERO. I want you to sign on and support H J Res 54 to overturn Citizens United and then I want you to make sure that corporate tax handouts and giveaways are rescinded so that everyone in this country who benefits from being here pays their fair share.
