An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Take Action Against Gun Violence

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

The United States faces an unacceptable epidemic of gun violence that Congress must address. Common-sense legislation is urgently needed to close dangerous loopholes, establish universal background checks supported by the vast majority of gun owners, fund proven community-based anti-violence initiatives, and reinstate the assault weapons ban backed by most Americans. Too many lives have been tragically lost while lawmakers fail to take meaningful action on this crisis. Comprehensive gun safety reform will save lives and make our communities safer. Addressing gun violence should be a top priority to protect the wellbeing of all Americans.
