Stand with Ukraine. Stand up Loud & Clear Against Russia Now!

I am writing to express deep concern over recent actions and statements by President Donald Trump that suggest a significant shift in U.S. policy, aligning more closely with Russian interests at the expense of Ukraine’s sovereignty and democratic leadership.
In a recent Oval Office meeting, President Trump berated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, blaming Ukraine for the ongoing war and suggesting that Kyiv should have negotiated to avoid the conflict. This stance not only misrepresents the nature of Russia’s unprovoked aggression but also undermines the legitimate government of Ukraine.
Further exacerbating concerns, during the same meeting, a reporter from the Russian state-owned news agency TASS was granted access, raising questions about the administration’s vetting processes and potential biases toward Russian media.
Additionally, President Trump has labeled President Zelenskyy a “dictator without elections,” despite Ukraine’s democratic processes and the suspension of elections due to martial law amidst the ongoing conflict. Such rhetoric aligns with Kremlin propaganda and undermines Ukraine’s leadership during a critical period.
These actions have elicited alarm among U.S. allies and bipartisan criticism domestically. European leaders have expressed dismay, emphasizing the importance of supporting Ukraine against Russian aggression and cautioning against narratives that shift blame onto the victim of the invasion.
The administration’s recent policy decisions, including the exclusion of Ukraine from critical negotiations with Russia, further indicate a departure from longstanding U.S. support for Ukraine. This shift not only jeopardizes Ukraine’s sovereignty but also emboldens Russian expansionist ambitions, posing broader risks to global stability.
I urge you to take immediate action to reaffirm the United States’ commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty and democratic leadership. It is imperative that we counteract narratives that unjustly blame Ukraine for the conflict and ensure that U.S. foreign policy decisions are made transparently, with the inclusion of our Ukrainian allies.
