Greetings. I am a voting constituent in rural west Texas.
As the country prepares to watch the first of a number of hearings on the events of January 6, I wanted to remind my elected officials in Washington that the majority of us DO, absolutely, want to know what happened.
We don’t think it was a false flag operation.
We don’t think it was irrelevant, with no harm done.
We think it was a threat to a fragile democracy, and should not be swept under the rug because the GOP has lost its collective mind in fealty to the psychopath that brought it upon us.
The silent majority is real. We are in the middle. We are rational. We care more about the country than we do the horse race inanity of politics. We can sniff out truth. Authenticity. True patriotism.
The majority of us are not as stupid as you think us to be.
So these words struck me this morning…
“It is good to be reminded now and then that everyone has a choice — to defend the country honorably, or not.”
Your choice. It always has been.
And we see all of you who choose to blow with the wind while our country suffers.
Let’s just hope we can all learn from the information presented in the ensuing days. And to make certain it can never ever happen again.
