Announce that Colorado stands with democracies, not dictators

Stand up and say Colorado does not support the Neo-Nazi group Vice President Vance has met with, and we do not support the Russian dictatorship over the democratic Ukraine. Our federal government is sending the world all the wrong messages. I was shocked when Vance reached out to Neo-Nazis, and even more shocked when Trump took Putin's side in the war against the Ukraine. I can't believe the beliefs of the people of the US flip-flopped in just 31 days. We fought a war against Nazis, and a cold war against Soviet dictators. I still stand for democracy and human rights, and I also support the legal boundaries of nations and I oppose those who start a war to change those boundaries. Who are we as a nation? Who are we as a state? Do we side with the Neo-Nazis or do we stand for democracies over dictators? I want Colorado to stand up and say "We do not share these beliefs. The State of Colorado believes in democracies over dictators, and that is why we support Ukraine over Russia. The State of Colorado does not condone Neo-Nazis, and we do not support our nation's vice president speaking with the leader of the AfD. The State of Colorado is not falling in line with President Trump's anti-democratic actions. These states are not united in dictatorship. We will speak up." Silence equals consent. Europe is learning who the US is now, and apparently we are a country that supports dictators over democracies. If no one stands up and speaks against that, the world will believe the entire US is behind the actions of Trump and Vance. Be the first. Speak out. Colorado supports democracies over dictators. We stand with Ukraine over Putin. We are not United.
