An open letter to the U.S. Senate

Censure Sen. Tuberville

12 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

Sen. Tuberville should be censured for calling Abdul El Sayed a "terrorist" and a "radical islamist who will do everything he can to destroy America." This is not even dog whistling, it's blatant religious bigotry and it goes against the most fundamental American principle, freedom of religion, which is enshrined in the FIRST clause of the FIRST amendment to the Constitution. It's also completely irresponsible. He may not say it explicitly, but with this extreme rhetoric, Tuberville is calling for El Sayed's assassination. There are so many ignorant, violent bigots out there, I'm scared for Dr. El Sayed. Please censure Sen. Tuberville for stochastic terrorism.
