Senator Schumer is failing America and betraying his oath of office. His willingness to cave to Republican demands is nothing short of throwing America under the bus, and those who enable him—including you, should you go along with this—are complicit. The fact that Senate Democrats continue to back him as Minority Leader despite his repeated concessions is deeply concerning.
The Republican Party controls the House, Senate, and White House. If they cannot pass a budget that satisfies their own party, that is their problem—not ours. There is absolutely no reason for Democrats to fold under pressure and sign off on policies that will cause irreparable harm to our country.
At the very least, I expect you to stand firm and refuse to sign away America's future. If Republicans want to run the country into the ground, let them do it alone. Do not give them bipartisan cover for their recklessness.
We understand that standing firm will cause pain, but caving is even worse. This is not just about politics—it is about ethics, values, and the future of this country. We are watching, and we are extremely unhappy.
