Vote NO on the SAVE America Act; it is voter suppression!

I am writing to demand that you vote NO on the "Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) America Act" currently being fast-tracked in the House. This bill is not about security; it is a calculated attempt to disenfranchise millions of eligible American voters ahead of the 2026 midterms. By requiring proof of citizenship (like a passport or original birth certificate) not just to register, but to cast a ballot, you are imposing an impossible burden on the American public. Experts estimate this could disenfranchise 21 million Americans. Half of the country does not have a passport. Millions do not have ready access to their birth certificates. Furthermore, this bill threatens to purge married women who have changed their names from voter rolls. Noncitizen voting is already a crime and statistically nonexistent. This legislation is a solution in search of a problem, designed solely to strip eligible citizens of their rights. I expect you to publicly oppose this bill and any attempt to eliminate the filibuster to pass it.
