How many more must die before you act?

I'm so tired that I need to yell at you about this again. We need gun control laws. We can't wait for the GOP to come to their senses. It's clear they do not care. It was clear from the first school shooting and it continues to be clear each time the country is mourning a new list of victims — students and teachers, people in a movie theater, people at a hair salon, a young man walking home with skittles and ice tea. Do what it takes — kill the filibuster or whatever else necessary. As the saying goes, the best time to plant a tree was years ago, the second best is right now. We should have gotten common sense gun laws with our first mass shooting incident, but since it wasn't done then, do it now. You can't bring any of them back, but you owe it to them to protect others going forward.
