An open letter to the President & U.S. Congress

The USPS is a vital service enshrined in the Constitution.

The United States Postal Service (USPS) is a vital, dependable and all-American public service that millions of Americans rely on to vote by mail and participate in our democracy. But right now, the USPS is sounding the alarm, without action, it will run out of money and stop deliveries this October. The postal service is not a business and should not rely solely on the sale of 'stamps' to operate. Congress must step in now to fully fund the USPS and protect it from collapse. Please write back soon and let me know how you feel about the service and how you plan to protect it.
