Thank you for your commitment on Oct. 22 to produce a long-term plan to protect and recover Snake River salmon no later than July 31st, 2022. We need a comprehensive regional plan that restores the lower Snake River and invests in communities and critical infrastructure. This opportunity is before us today - to secure an unprecedented win for conservation, for tribal justice, for salmon and orcas, and much more. It’s an opportunity to make big, beneficial investments in clean energy, transportation, and agricultural infrastructure and help position Northwest people, lands and waters for the challenges ahead.
