An open letter to the President & U.S. Congress

Demand respect and inclusion for neurodiverse individuals

9 so far! Help us get to 10 signers!

RFK Jr, Secretary of HHS, insensitively and harmfully dehumanized individuals with autism, portraying them as burdens incapable of meaningful lives. This cruel rhetoric perpetuates stigma and causes genuine harm. People with autism have inherent worth and dignity. They can live fulfilling lives, work, create art, form relationships, and contribute immensely to society when given appropriate support and accommodation. His demeaning and inaccurate characterizations are unacceptable. Recognize the humanity in all people, regardless of neurological differences. Replace prejudice with empathy, understanding and respect for the neurodiverse community. I request that my representatives rebuke RFK Jr for his ignorant and dangerous stance.
