The US has deployed 2000 marines and several nuclear-capable warships to Venezuela, purportedly to combat drug-trafficking in the area. That would be a catastrophically overblown response from the US if that's true, and if it isn't true there's no reasonable explanation for us to be risking nuclear war. Russia is now getting involved in defense of Venezuela, and I call on you to recall these troops and destroyers to deescalate the situation.
