A week ago when you stepped out of the race, I was very sad. Because I think you’ve been an incredible president. During such fractious partisan times, you got some major legislation passed. I do not know how you were able to do that. Took some negotiation I’m sure.
And you’re still at it. Prime example is capturing El Chapo’s son on the border. Amazing. You’ve really demonstrated what can happen when the government works. It has been so refreshing to have you at the helm.
It took me a few days to get over my grieving and pivot towards Vice President Harris as the new presidential candidate, because I was so aggravated with the news media harping on minor little slip ups versus hardly noting the craziness coming out of the other guy. It’s just been ridiculous. But always the gentleman you stepped aside. And since I’ve noticed how energized the young people are by the possibility of President Harris. So hopefully we can get rid of the threat to our democracy once and for all, one can hope.
