THIS EPSTEIN FIASCO SHOULDN’T BE SO COMPLICATED. UNLESS THAT’S THE PLAN

Here we go again. The MAGA crowd went insane when Trump’s DOJ said they wouldn’t be releasing the long-promised Epstein files. Because…nothing to see here after all. As a result of their meltdown, the Trump DOJ attempted to throw them a softball by requesting the courts to release grand jury testimony. After 3 strikes you’re out, the courts said way more info would be in the DOJ files. And said no. Files were subpoenaed by the Congress, theoretically a bipartisan effort. But so far, the only new disclosure was less than 1,000 pages from the US Customs and Border Protection’s record of flight locations of Epstein’s plane from 2000 to 2014. Everything else submitted has already been made public. But the thing that MAGA has now attached themselves to in panicked relief is the video/audio of the Todd Blanche 2-day interview with Ghislaine Maxwell. An interview when she said all the right things about Trump and Epstein. Followed by an immediate transfer to a camp for convicts in Texas. So all it takes for MAGA to go from histrionic to converted is the testimony ‘under oath’ of a convicted sex offender. And in the eyes of the DOJ then, a known and shown perjurer ‘under oath.’ That’s the beauty of believing conspiracies isn’t it? Think they would have been so eager to believe if it was anyone but Trump? Lie to me. I promise I’ll believe. It’s bad enough that we have an actual convicted felon in the WH. But his loyal followers might be a-ok never knowing if it might even be worse. What a degraded country we have become.
