Investigate and Stop Trump's Raid on National Park Funds

Stop the looting. Internal National Park Service documents show $323 million has been rerouted to White House projects this year alone — a 5,000% increase over 2024. Another $100 million went to National Mall vanity projects. That total is larger than the combined spending at nine of America's largest national parks, while Yellowstone, Yosemite, and the Grand Canyon face multimillion-dollar cuts.
This isn't a budget disagreement — it's theft. A federal employee told journalist Scott MacFarlane that the NPS is being "forced to prioritize Trump's vanity projects over our own needs." Congress holds the power of the purse. Use it. Launch a full investigation into these fund diversions, claw back the misappropriated money, and pass legislation that prevents any president from raiding park budgets for personal monuments. The parks belong to the American people, not to whoever happens to occupy the White House.
