Work to Save our National Parks

legislature Thank you for meeting me and others on ACLU’s Advocacy Day earlier this week. As a constituent in Estes Park, I want to reiterate how important it is for you to contact (and work with) our representatives in Congress and express the urgency to reinstate the staff of our National Parks. In Estes Park, our economy is dependent on a smooth running system in support of Rocky Mountain National Park — the impact on tourism is huge. Likewise, the other communities associated with all 13 national parks and monuments in Colorado will likely suffer as well without your assistance. It is critical you assess the impact of declining federal funding on our parks and how they impact our local economies. Thanks.
